The French, Romanian visual artist and illustrator Ana Popescu works across several mediums and methods, exploring various themes and our perceptions of space. Having graduated with a Masters of Fine Arts from the University of Applied Arts, Vienna, and currently based in the Austrian capital, her work combines simple forms, distorted perspectives, light, shade and bold use of colour to create compositions that are both familiar yet distant. With gallery shows across Europe, she combines her artistic practice with work for commercial clients including Google, Rimowa, Tylko, Canal+, Architectural Digest, Soho House and many more.
