Klara Graah is a Danish illustrator based in Copenhagen. Her work is characterised by playful compositions, bold shapes and a distinctive use of colour. Moving between clean graphic forms and more intuitive, hand-drawn expressions, she approaches illustration as a space for experimentation, curiosity and humour.
“In these pieces I have worked with very expressive colours that are somewhat reminiscent of the Scandinavian graphic style of the 1960s and 1970s. I guess I’ve tried to reach a certain level of contrast and surprise through colour - I tend to be draw”
