The Absorb collection by Dutch designer Lex Pott merges together artwork and frame through a celebration of continuous colour. Created as a visual extension of Paper Collective's duo-tone coloured pine frames, each colourway is available in six unique patterns that spread and intertwine vibrant tones in and out of one-another. The result is a collection that is bold and maximalist, and can be combined to create a gradient landscape or stand alone as a striking pop of interior colour.

Lex Pott (NL)

Lex Pott (1985) employs a raw and intuitive method. In his work, he returns to the origin of the materials he uses most: wood, stone and metal. He does not hide his designs under indirect layers but reduces them to their very essence. Pott works from his design studio based in Rotterdam. He graduated cum laude in 2009 at the Design Academy Eindhoven.

“I am a material freak. I like processes and experimenting with materials and techniques. So I really work with materials and technique hands on to understand it. Aesthetic and function is a result of this process.”
