Beth Kaye (b. 1991) is an artist from Cornwall, UK. Beth trained as a textile designer and worked withhomewares and furniture before being reintroduced to oil painting in 2021. Bethstudied with the Newlyn School of Art to refine her newfound practice.Home, design and object play an important role in Beth’s small scale artworks, as carefully curated elements that are brought together to create intimate, calm spaces. Beth is interested in the idea of capturing brief moments of beauty and providing quiet escapism in her work.
“The main feeling that comes across in my work is solitude, without loneliness. I like each of my paintings to be its own little enveloping world where there is space to be alone and perhaps pause for a moment to appreciate the sunlight or a coffee.”
