Between Fantasy and Reality is our latest collection of over 60 original art prints created in collaboration with 16 artists from all over the globe. For some, their imagination has taken them to another world or translated their experiences through vibrant colours and abstract forms. Others have translated simple moments from their day-to-day, showcasing a humbling ability to create lasting moments from the smallest detail. Together, this collection takes you to the moon and back, all from the comfort of your own home.

We welcome back existing collaborators Berit Mogensen Lopez, Adee Ardon, Line Hachem, Liat Greenberg, Ana Popescu, Jonna Valtner and Mae Studio - with growing collections that go deeper into each artists practice to provide new wrinkles to their body of work.

Alongside these artists, new artwork from Sara Mai, Jon Harvey, Kareena Zerefos and Adrienna Matzeg extend our collection with new expressions in pencil, paint and even embroidered compositions.

We also welcome two new photographers to Paper Collective's catalogue with Xuebing Du and Ain Raadik, who each transform influences from nature through their own unique lens to create captivating collections.

And lastly we have added three new collections to our MADO range of artworks for the whole family. Thirteen new artworks from Anne Laval, Jota De Jai and Marina Ayashiro add character and a playful charm to the collection.

Stockholm based artist and fashion designer Liat Greenberg channels her love of colours and spontaneous forms through her work across still life and figurative paintings and drawings. Her practice is based on an almost meditative approach, utilizing her favorite medium – watercolor’s, as a way to capture her spontaneity and creativity. Full of movement, life and vibrant colours, her work approaches her subjects with a mix of abstract chaos and more deliberate representations.

Born in Sydney, Kareena Zerefos is a Greek Australian artist based in Lisbon, Portugal. With a background in design and illustration, she graduated with a Master of Art from the University of New South Wales in 2017. In coloured pencil, watercolour and layered mixed media, Kareena works predominantly on paper to explore themes of duality and dichotomies — isolation and connection, past and future, tangible and ethereal, natural and artificial. Through her drawings she aims to evoke a sense of nostalgia and tranquility, challenging the borders of real and imagined, presence and escapism.

Xuebing Du (b. 1990) is a San Francisco Bay Area-based photographer originally from China, whose work has been exhibited internationally at venues such as Fondation Clément in Martinique, Fotografiska Museum in Stockholm, and Fotografiska Tallinn, along with numerous exhibitions across the United States, Europe, and China.

Xuebing’s photography is deeply inspired by the aesthetics of classical painting, which influence her delicate approach to light, color, and texture. Her work focuses on capturing the beauty of nature, from deserts and gardens to her primary fascination with plants and flowers. Through a painterly use of light and attention to organic form, she reveals the elegance and subtleties of her subjects, inviting viewers to experience the natural world in a fresh, almost otherworldly way

Adee Ardon is an artist and illustrator based in Tel Aviv, Israel. With her main medium being oil pastels, she places emphasis on colour and a context of place, taking inspiration from everyday life and capturing it in a unique and dreamy ways. Her naive style and bold color choices augment the reality we all see, making the spectators look at a specific - supposedly mundane - moment in time, and have them see the world through her eyes.

Adrienna Matzeg is a Canadian-based textile artist whose punch needle embroidery transforms travel photography into vibrant, tactile compositions. With an interest in how we preserve fleeting moments from travel, Adrienna’s work invites a sense of nostalgia and intimacy. She holds a degree in Photography from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, and her work has been featured in Colossal, The Globe and Mail, and STIRworld, gaining recognition among international collectors.

With a bachelor's degree in animation and a diploma in classical drawing, the work of Copenhagen based artist Sara Mai explores the juxtaposition of fluidity and rigidity, focusing on human forms and the tension between organic and geometric shapes. Inspired by surrealism and the antique, she weaves these influences into her paintings, sculptures, and poems. Central to her practice are themes of perception and the interplay between alienation and human interaction, shaped by the vibrant pulse of city life and quiet moments of introspection on identity and context.

Marina Ayashiro (Marina.A) is a self-taught artist from Kyoto, Japan. After studying graphic design and travelling through Europe, she is now living and working in Osaka, Japan. Inspired by nature, food, travelling and animals, she balances commercial design work with her own artistic practice extending across illustration, painting and ceramics.

Anne Laval lives and works in France, in the city of Strasbourg. Her work focuses on a variety of different techniques: paint, ink, colored pencils, stamps, stencils, silkscreen printing. Full of simple shapes and vibrant colours, Laval enjoys the variety of texture each medium creates. Nature is a real source of inspiration. Anne often has her pocket full of finds collected during walks. She likes drawing small characters lost in vast landscapes, the infinitely big and the infinitely small. Anne Laval draws childbooks, posters and participates to exhibitions. Her pictures travel all over the world.

Amsterdam based Mae Studio expresses a world of motion and emotion through a minimal use of form and colour. Working on canvas and paper, her works feature organic forms mixed with muted tones to create striking compositions that reflect human emotions. Soft yet bold, flowing forms come together to create work that is organic and familiar, yet presents her unique vision of the world around her.

The French, Romanian visual artist and illustrator Ana Popescu works across several mediums and methods, exploring various themes and our perceptions of space. Having graduated with a Masters of Fine Arts from the University of Applied Arts, Vienna, and currently based in the Austrian capital, her work combines simple forms, distorted perspectives, light, shade and bold use of colour to create compositions that are both familiar yet distant. With gallery shows across Europe, she combines her artistic practice with work for commercial clients including Google, Rimowa, Tylko, Canal+, Architectural Digest, Soho House and many more.
