Intertwining colours and curves defines Wave by Danish artist Berit Mogensen Lopez. Reminiscent of swirling waves intercepting and flowing over one another, the composition is a reaction to the use of soft pastels to create each form. The muted tones of the medium helps bring a sense of calm to the piece, as deeper tones of blue, red and green coalesce with soft hues of ochre, warm white and baby blue.
