Rock On! is a collection of wall hanging ceramic works by Dutch artist and designer Willem Van Hooff. Chanelling his hands-on and intuative approach to shaping form and meaning, the works are tongue-in-cheek, referencing toilet humour and Hooff own insecurities. The pieces are produced from earthenware and charcoal crayon, with a subtle raku finish that adds a glass like effect in tones of black and pink.

Willem van Hooff is a Dutch artist and designer based in Eindhoven. Through his work he explores his fascination with objects that hold written or carved stories within them - a fascination stemming from peoples need to leave a mark and what it can add to an object. Most of his stories focus on van Hooff's own insecurities and imperfections. Whilst working mainly with ceramics, throughout the years he has written and told stories in many other materials - a form of tattoo-ing his own creations.
