Sketch Vase 01 by Portugese artist Ana Frois explores the form of the traditional clay vases used to keep water fresh during the long Portugese summer. Created from built up layers of watercolur paint in soft, earthy tones, the form of the vase is formed in negative space, with the only decoration coming from a collection of speckled dots.
