A+N Studio is a material-driven design studio shaping wellbeing-focused objects and installations. Founded by Alissa van Asseldonk (1988, Eindhoven, NL) and Nienke Bongers (1988, Arnhem, NL), the studio operates at the intersection of research, material exploration, and sensory experience. Together they design interior products that appeal to the senses and enhance health and happiness - from soft, touchable walls to breathing lights. Central to their practice is an extensive knowledge of materials and techniques, including jacquard weaving - a craft they have explored in depth through years of hands-on experimentation with weave structures, yarn choices, and the interplay of texture, colour, and light.
