Inspired by long evenings by the Mediterranean Sea, Israeli artist and illustrator Adee Ardon created Composition With Fish. Sitting against a tabletop in muted pink, fish, wine and fresh vegetables transport you to summer evenings with friends and family. Her chosen medium of oil pastels and oil sticks brings the still life composition to life, complete with rich strokes and deep textures.

With her main medium being oil pastels, she places emphasis on colour and a context of place, taking inspiration from everyday life and capturing it in a unique and dreamy ways. Her naive style and bold color choices augment the reality we all see, making the spectators look at a specific - supposedly mundane - moment in time, and have them see the world through her eyes.
