An Elephant That Never Forgets by English artist Imogen Crossland presents a playful and happy elephant walking through the forest. The elephants black form is punctuated by dashes of colour, from its big blue ears to shapes of orange, yellow and green. Inspired by the work of Henri Matisse, Crossland’s characters have a cut-out appearance, with playful oversized forms and graphic lines.
Imo Sinclair is a Manchester-based artist and illustrator. Having graduated from the University of Brighton, she has worked on both commercial projects and her own personal endeavors, all with an overriding sense of joy and companionship. Her work is instantly recognizable through her use of dynamic shapes, textural appearances and bold colours. Inspired by artists such as Picasso and Matisse, her work is stylized and always fun, focusing on everyday motifs and moments.
