A City Encounter 07 - Acoustic Panel

By Spacon

A City Encounter is Paper Collective's first collection of embroidered artworks, produced from cotton thread on natural linen. Designed by Copenhagen's Spacon studio, the works feature the moments and details that captured the essence of life in our home city - bike rides with friends, beers on the water, swimming in the canals and city rain.

Spacon has translated these moments through beautiful hand-drawn illustrations lovingly interpreted in delicate embroidery. This is an Dezibel acoustic art panel, produced in collaboration with Zilenzio, produced from stone wool back, linen fabric and solid timber frame.

Paper Collective x Zilenzio offers acoustic art that combines exceptional acoustic performance with gallery quality framed artwork. Our Dezibel Wall Absorber is created from stone wool - a 100% natural stone product offering industry leading sound absorption, surrounded by a delicate solid wood frame and your choice of Paper Collective's exclusive fine art collection printed on porous and texturally rich fabric. If you are looking to create spaces that are focused, relaxed and beautiful too, see and feel the difference with our Dezibel Acoustic Art Collection.

Spacon (DK)

Spacon is a Copenhagen based, award winning spatial design studio working across strategy, branding, product, and digital experiences. Rooted in the idea of designing for encounters, the studio creates thoughtful environments and experiences that connect identity with physical space and shape how people relate to each other and their surroundings. With a core focus on the design of space, Spacon views design as a form of hosting, combining narrative, materiality, and strategy to create contemporary spaces, objects, and environments that invite openness, interaction, and presence.

“The starting point for the collection is Copenhagen as a lived experience. The artworks avoid familiar or touristic representations of the city. Instead, they focuses on everyday situations.”
