Finnish designer Antti Kekki crafted his first collection for Paper Collective as an ode to the simple joys in everyday life. Created from freely cut paper shapes, layered and combined - Baluster is a joyful combination of simple geometric forms and vibrant colours, from red and orange, to soft green and punchy black.

Antti Kekki is a Helsinki-based freelance designer who enjoys bold colours, improvisation and handicraft. Kekki’s works usually rely on simple collage technique in which different forms are cut from paper and carefully arranged to playful ensembles.
“This series of eight posters designed for Paper Collective draws inspiration from the simple joys of everyday life. The awakening of nature in spring, as well as berries enjoyed at breakfast, have served as sources of inspiration.”
