Vessel 01 by Icelandic artist Kristín Sigurðardóttir combines various techniques and textures to present a series of vessels and vases. Created through a mixture of hand coloured and textured paper, forms are then cut out and rearranged digitally to create a composition that combines the texture and feel of the hand with a sense of order. The use of soft and warm tones accentuates a composition that mirrors the objects we touch and hold within our daily life.

Her work extends across various fields including visual arts and textile in addition to product and material design, focusing mainly on upcycling and sustainability. Combining digital techniques with manual methods, her work often reworks traditional motives into contemporary compositions.
