Early Bird Gets the Worm by English illustrator and artist Imogen Crossland is a playful take on the fabled saying. Utilizing her stylized world of colours and hand-cut shapes, a beautiful blue bird is flying over a single worm - appearing like a collection of pebbles in green, purple, yellow and black. Crossland’s joyful approach to her work is evident even within the wobbly text – sharing the same spirit as the characters within the composition.
