With her second collection for Paper Collective, Australian artist Stacey Rees has presented her figurative subjects with a playful freedom in expression. Less defined in form and ranging in levels of abstraction, this series of works allows the viewer to create their own interpretations of each piece. HIE presents an abstract female form, almost cubist in nature, in tones of beige, pink, green and blue within a warm yellow environment. Outlines and elements in black create a graphic expression to the work.
