Shrine I
By Kareena Zerefos
The Greek-Australian artist Kareena Zerefos explores notions of isolation and sanctuary through her Shine collection. Created through the detailed use of coloured pencil on arches paper, her compositions combine fantastical colours with open environments that appear otherworldly. Structure appear as a refuge within the expanse, offering a physical and emotional escape from the mundane.
