Marble Steps by Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen of Norm Architects presents the repetition of a simple architectural detail brought to life through the rich texture of marble. Deep veins within the marble shift and change across each plane to present a composition that is grounded in simplicity yet appears to dance.
Norm Architects is a multidisciplinary design studio focusing on residential architecture, commercial interiors and industrial design. Norm Architects were recently named Danish designers of the year, and have impressed worldwide with their soft minimalism furniture, lighting and accessories designed for companies such as Menu, Design Within Reach and many more. The studio was founded in 2008 by architects Kasper Rønn and Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen by their vocation to create timeless architecture and meaningful design products.
