Xuebing Du (US)
Xuebing Du (b. 1990) is a San Francisco Bay Area-based photographer originally from China, whose work has been exhibited internationally at venues such as Fondation Clément in Martinique, Fotografiska Museum in Stockholm, and Fotografiska Tallinn, along with numerous exhibitions across the United States, Europe, and China. Xuebing’s photography is deeply inspired by the aesthetics of classical painting, which influence her delicate approach to light, color, and texture. Her work focuses on capturing the beauty of nature, from deserts and gardens to her primary fascination with plants and flowers. Through a painterly use of light and attention to organic form, she reveals the elegance and subtleties of her subjects, inviting viewers to experience the natural world in a fresh, almost otherworldly way.
