Blue Lilly is a earthy textural art print by the Swedish artist Josefin Tolstoy. Josefin Tolstoy is a Swedish artist based in Uppsala, Sweden. Her work is both abstract and figurative. Inspired by the soothing colours of nature and contemporary interiors she creates luscious textures, shapes and blocks of colour. Having completed a Diploma in Art and Design and Graphic Design in the UK, her artworks are often strong in composition and shapes. She works in a combination of acrylic paint and mixed media, in some of the paintings there is an extra sense of texture that she achives with her own recipie of mortar and acrylic mix. These painting are made by laying the canvas on the floor as the colour is heavy.
