Following a fictional detective trying to solve a case, each piece is availble in multiple colourways inspired by the bold stylings of Denmark in the 60's. Opera Glasses 02 presents a pair of binoculars in tones of blue and deep purple against a soft pink backdrop - two iconic eyes jump out, peering and inspecting the environment.

Klara Graah is a Danish illustrator based in Copenhagen. Her work is characterised by playful compositions, bold shapes and a distinctive use of colour. Moving between clean graphic forms and more intuitive, hand-drawn expressions, she approaches illustration as a space for experimentation, curiosity and humour.

“In these pieces I have worked with very expressive colours that are somewhat reminiscent of the Scandinavian graphic style of the 1960s and 1970s. I guess I’ve tried to reach a certain level of contrast and surprise through colour.”
