Not sure if it’s the arrival of autumn with all its moody colours, but suddenly I’ve found myself drawn to orange! 🍊 I had a phase in primary school when I wore nothing but orange. Orange skate shoes, orange jeans, an orange backpack and an orange Champion sweatshirt. Cooooool 😎🔥 After that overdose, I stayed away from the colour for years, but now it’s somehow sneaked its way into our home in the form of two art prints. Let’s see if it stays as a few little accents or if I’m about to go full-on obsessed for the second time in my life!? ☺️

En ny hylla för tavlor, glittrande i morgonsolen. Hur fin!? Älskar ju som ni redan vet rostfritt, det kalla stålet blir så fin kontrast till varmt trä och det är ju alltid härligt med saker som reflekterar ljus. Hyllan är ett samarbete mellan @normarchitects och @papercollective och därifrån är även tavlorna. 🦶⛰️En lite mer deppig sak i bilden är den slokande mimosan. Köpte den i går kväll och då var den alldeles fluffig och härlig, och när jag vaknade såg den så här trött ut. Det blir alltid så med mimosa för mig! Nån som har ett knep för att behålla fluffigheten längre än ett par timmar!?

Changing this corner above the sofa felt like one of those small updates that ends up shifting the whole space. I added this metal shelf and a couple of prints from Paper Collective, and it finally feels balanced, simple, but with enough personality. I love how easy it is to keep evolving it too, moving things around, swapping pieces, and letting it grow with the space instead of feeling “finished.” Everything is from Paper Collective, both the prints and the shelf. If you’re thinking about updating a wall, this kind of setup is honestly one of the easiest ways to start.
