Combining a minimal approach to form and composition with the designer’s own sense of humour and fun, English graphic designer Harry Richards created the art print Six. Utilizing a mix of positive and negative space, Richards aims to add as much personality with the least number of elements– in this case the subtle appearance of a bird’s head and an egg adds a cheeky addition to the composition.

Harry Richards is a freelance graphic designer based in Bristol, United Kingdom. His day-to-day work focuses on visual identity, typography and print design for various design studios, start-ups and businesses. Outside of work as an ongoing personal project, he creates graphic posters inspired by the minimal Swiss style of the mid-century, featuring bold and impactful typography and colour.
