Spanish artist-designer Jaime Hayon was born in Madrid in 1974 and since founding Hayon Studio in 2001 he has become a creative force at the forefront of a new wave of artists and designers that have blurred the lines between art, decoration and design. His art and design have been exhibited at museums and galleries all over the world while his commercial product and furniture designs reside with leading global brands such as Fritz Hansen, Swarovski, Cassina, &Tradition, Magis and Baccarat. We asked Jaime to contribute to the world of MADO with some of these personalities, all special creatures evoking the imagination. They are all made with ink and it’s a mix of fantastic dreamy animals and ancient vases come in alive through a blink of an eye, a tongue or a beak. All The Way To Paris gave them colours all inspired by the colourful world of Jaime Hayon.
